We have very little information on this species and do not know if it will be hardy in Britain. However, judging from its native range, it is likely that some forms, especially from the southern and eastern parts of its range, could succeed outdoors at least in the milder parts of the country.

Propagation

Seed - sow early to mid spring in a greenhouse. When they are large enough to handle, prick the seedlings out into individual pots and plant them out after the last expected frost[].
