Suaeda corniculata is a plant of arid and semi-arid regions, growing in areas where summers can be hot and the winters very cold.
Species in this genus usually require a sunny position and are found in the wild growing in alkaline and saline soils.
Edible Uses
Seed - cooked whole or ground into a powder and used with cereals. A famine food, it is only used when all else fails[
