General Information

Nepeta longibracteata is a perennial plant with a creeping, woody rootstock and stems that sometimes become more or less woody, at least near the base, and persist. The slender stems can be prostrate or ascending; the plant usually growing around 9 - 12cm tall[, , ].
The plant is harvested from the wild for local use as a medicine.

Nepeta species generally grow best in a sunny position and a well-drained soil. Many are found in poor soils in the wild, and have a bushier growth habit in more fertile soils[].
