General Information
Eruca foleyi is an annual plant, producing a basal rosette of leaves followed by one or more flowering stems; it can grow up to 30cm tall
The edible leaves are a traditional Spring food in Morocco. Closely related to the cultivated rocket (Eruca sativa), this species has very similar properties and can be used in much the same ways as a food, medicine and source of oil.

Eruca foleyi is a plant of arid and semi-arid areas of Mediterranean N. Africa, germinating after rains and then growing quickly to flower and produce seed whilst there is still sufficient moisture.
Eruca species generally succeed in full sun, but prefer some shade from the hottest sun[
