General Information
Chrysopogon gryllus is a perennial grass forming tough tussocks, with erect, robust culms around 50 - 150cm long.
The plant is harvested from the wild as a source of materials. It is said to be cultivated in northern Italy for the pleasantly scented roots, and to be occasionally taken into cultivation trials for its essential oil[
