Artemisia austriaca is a herbaceous perennial plant growing 15 - 50cm tall. The plant forms a cluster of stems, these can sometimes become more or less woody and persist[].

Known Hazards

Many members of this genus contain contain potentially allergenic sesquiterpene lactones. Although this species has been found to contain them, there have been no reports that it has caused dermatitis[].
